Message from the Principal

Welcome to Chiefland Elementary School! From the moment you walk through our doors, my hope is that you feel what makes CES unique—a place where every child is known, valued, encouraged, and inspired to grow.

At Chiefland Elementary, our mission is to provide a safe, supportive, and academically rich environment where all students are prepared for a successful future. We believe children thrive when they feel connected, challenged, and celebrated. Every decision we make is centered on creating meaningful learning experiences while ensuring that each student knows they belong here.

Our teachers and staff are the heart of our school. They are passionate educators who care deeply about children and are committed to helping every student reach their full potential. Together, we strive to create classrooms where students are engaged, encouraged to think critically, take risks, collaborate with others, and develop confidence in themselves as learners.

As an AVID Schoolwide campus, we intentionally teach students the organizational, leadership, and problem-solving skills they need to be successful both in school and beyond. Through our Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) framework, we also emphasize kindness, responsibility, respect, and positive relationships, helping students develop strong character alongside strong academics.

One of my greatest priorities is building meaningful partnerships with our families. We know that education is most successful when schools and families work together, and we are grateful for the trust you place in us each day. Whether you're attending a school event, volunteering, communicating with your child's teacher, or simply cheering them on at home, your involvement makes a tremendous difference.

We look forward to getting to know each of you and continuing to build a school culture where students love coming to school, staff love serving, and families feel connected and welcomed. Thank you for allowing us the opportunity to partner with you in your child's educational journey!

All schools in our district use ParentSquare for school communication primarily with email, text, and app notifications.

ParentSquare automatically syncs with our student information system to generate an account for each parent, using their preferred email address and phone number. We encourage parents to access their accounts so they can download the mobile app and update their preferences on when and how they are notified.

ParentSquare is a safe, secure, and modern approach to communication and collaboration between school and home. Learn more and get started today by viewing our ParentSquare web page
