District Students, Families, Staff, and LCEA:
The School Board desires to maintain an academic and work environment in which all employees, volunteers, and students are treated with respect and dignity. Under the regulations of Title IX, any of the following conduct on the basis of sex constitutes sexual harassment:
• Sexual conduct by a school employee towards a student, student to student, student to employee
• Unwelcome conduct determined by a reasonable person to be so severe, pervasive, and objectively offensive that it effectively denies a person equal access to the school’s education program or activity
• Sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, or stalking as defined in the Clery Act
