School News and Updates

Attention Volunteers: Our district’s volunteer policy has recently changed. If you plan to attend a field trip this year, you must complete paperwork at the district office and undergo fingerprinting, as a Level II background check is now required. With both Kindergarten and 2nd grade field trips coming up soon, please email Heather.Thompson@levyk12.org
as soon as possible to begin the process. To make things easier, a district representative will be on campus during late-night conferences on October 7th to help complete volunteer paperwork and start the fingerprinting process.

Car Line Expectations

🚗 JBE Car Line Expectations – Green Cards are a MUST! 🚗
To keep our car line safe, smooth, and efficient, we need everyone’s cooperation. Car line opens at 6:55 AM in the morning and 2:10 PM in the afternoon. It is required that you have your green car rider card visible every single day when picking up your child. If you do not have your card, you will be required to park, go into the office, and show a valid photo ID before your child can be released. This is an important safety and security measure and helps keep the line moving quickly. Please have your child on the right side of the vehicle with all belongings ready, and do not exit your car during drop-off or pick-up. If you need to buckle your child, pull into the parking lot or off-site before doing so. Parking and walking up is not permitted, as staff will not retrieve students from the line. Additionally, all cars must line up at the 4-way stop — skipping the line or entering from the North Road (Methodist Church/Wendy’s road) is not allowed. Transportation changes must also be submitted in writing and sent with your child, as phone calls and emails will not be accepted. Following these expectations — especially having your green card ready and lining up correctly — keeps our students safe and ensures the car line runs as quickly and efficiently as possible.
